When using Windows 7 as a file server you will eventually get this error when copying from or to your server, for me it would regularly occur when copying a directory of photos (either RAW or jpeg) between the server/client machines for local editing.
Fixing “Not enough server storage is available to process this command”
New Directions
I’m planning to start turning this blog into more of a DIY and tech support page after the appreciative comments I’ve had on the fixing ssl for xamp post. I like the idea of helping out the average end user with faults they often have and where a fix is available but not readily publicized, so with that in mind I’m putting out the request for questions or issue you have and I will attempt to replicate it and post a solution and hopefully we can all be better informed because of it.

Growing Old
Life changes, doesn’t it.
Not the instantaneous, tragic (and sometimes) avoidable changes that are so common in popular television shows, but instead slow, subtle and steady. They reshape ones life in the same way the unnoticed unstoppable glacier reshapes the mountain as obliviously it grinds its path to the ocean. It is only when one stops and steps back for a second that one realizes that perhaps the landscape has been irreparably changed (damaged?), that one realizes the insignificance of the little things is not always that insignificant after all.

Fixing SSL for XAMPP installs
Recently I had to fix a bug/oversight in the xampp install that prevented ssl from being a registered stream socket transport, it turns out there are quite a lot of requests for help on this subject out there but few or no answers. I stumbled into this problem when I tried to setup SSL encrypted email by way of google’s SMTP servers and if by putting my solution here I help just one person then it is worth it.
